Damien “Virtues Fall” [Lethal Talent]

Greetings all. It’s been a bit since my last mix as I’ve been busy with agency stuff and life in general. Here’s a 70 minute bang out of some of the stuff I’ve been feeling lately. Full spectrum business on this one carrying the listener on a cathartic journey through the light and dark sides of drum and bass. The title, Virtues Fall, is from Shakespeare’s Measure For Measure, “Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall” Escalus 2.1 where he insinuates that people will rise by doing wrong and some will lose status by doing the right thing. I was looking for a title for the past few days and while reading, that quote really resonated with me. I think that’s pretty relevant to the state of affairs in the world today; especially in things in my own life. Anyways, tracklist is below and as always, this was recorded live on 1200s.
